Steve,
I'll be out of the country for 10 days, leaving in a few hours, but please don't ask Jim to leave. Remember, we are going to kiss the stinky pinks goodbye. Instead ask him to watch and see, and to schedule an appointment to chat with me. He's probably just a guy who's been burned by con artists before. As for Len's original site, I havn't really looked into it much beyond DD & making sure that they didn't bury toxic waste or make people slip on sidewalks or pour hot coffee on people. We bought a shell. MN1 has a reputation for shredding pinks on the air--- they loved us. Jim will too, he just needs to find out for himself. You see,... we're not one of the pinks. We are a NASDAQ-bred company. I was apprenticed for 6 years and I have walked, trained, ate, and breathed NASDAQ. We were out of place in the pinks, and the pinks need people like Jim & Brian, otherwise investors would walk around like suckers and lose money everywhere if they weren't skeptical. Jim & Brian will be two feathers in my cap I will be especially proud to win as long term partners and fans. I would especially like Brian's email address if you could get that for me so I can send him a personal reply to his questions last night.
We are prepared to face a new type of PR issue-- the problems of the reputable companies that are beyond reproach-- ANALYISTS, RATINGS, & FUND MANAGERS. They will be the ones steering the public opinion boat from now on. Individual shorters have little effect on companies that are widely traded and endorsed by multiple brokerage firms. We're already going that way. If you watch our PR's closely, you'll see odd statements that are spoken to a small audience with a lot of money. We are already attracting the buy & hold big boys.
We havn't even started growing yet. That will happen AFTER we're listed on the NASDAQ. Once we can hold $3.00 per share the Funds and RIA people who have been watching us, with anticipation., can jump in and start playing too. After that the next milestone will be to pass our first billion dollars in market cap-- that's my nearfield goal anyhow. Growing the company like that adds liquidity and attracts new investors. We'll just be sure to do everything with a lot of balls and not run the show like a bunch of old ladies. We want a reputation!
We want a reputation of being ethical, fair, responsive, reliable, shrewd, and as aggressive as a pack of gorillas in heat.
I've been through Amarillo several times. I used to have family in New Mexico, and I was born in Dallas.
Taylor
(PS Feel free to post this on the web.)
(ALSO, I don't drop "down" to see you guys. I work for you guys. In our company the heirarchy is backwards from most. Usually the management comes first, then the shareholders, and the customer is last priority. With us, however: The customer comes first,... then the shareholders,... and THEN the management. This is servant leadership, and the customers can tell we're serious. Thanks for dropping an email down to me!)
