It wasn't hard to do and took around 10 minutes of research. Thing is, it's all public information that anyone can get.
What typically worries me if when people push a technology and have a website but the information is murky and unless you go do research, you'll never know who is behind it. Hiding something like that sends off an alarm, that something is not right. He had the opportunity to correct it and just got defensive then deflected to something else. Again, another alarm.
Selling an idea is easy. Making that idea a reality is the hard part. So this just looked like another version of selling or licensing an idea and sit back to collect the money. There are plenty other flying car companies out there, thus he can sell it to them. Airbus, Jeff Bezos and Warren Buffett would be my first choices, as it's a surefire thing due to the maths. All three are smart and will see he is right.
