iBIZ Technology to Acquire Assets of Qhost.com in Business Growth Strategy
PHOENIX, July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- iBIZ Technology Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: IBIZ - news), a leading manufacturer of PDA/handheld accessories and a provider of data center/co-location services and cabling for business infrastructure and networks, today announced it will acquire certain assets of Qhost.com, a Phoenix, Arizona-based Web and e-commerce hosting provider, as part of its strategy to expand its data center operations and customer base.

Under terms of the deal, which is expected to close on August 1, 2001, iBIZ will acquire from Bitwise Software International, Inc. (Bitwise), Qhost.com's parent company, Qhost customers, the Qhost.com trademark, Qhost domain names, and other assets. In anticipation of the closing date, iBIZ has begun the process of transitioning all Qhost.com web hosting customers, equipment and service agreements to the iBIZ data center. iBIZ has also hired two Qhost.com associates to join the team of technicians at the facility and to facilitate the transition process.
