The unspeakable fear about Larry Kudlow being the arbiter of the long-awaited White House GSE Plan...

There are only whispers...

Even Charlie Gasparino shies away from comment...

Is Larry Kudlow addicted to the GSE's profit sweep? Kudlow is purported to be a recovering cocaine addict. Are the narcotic effects of huge, scorable $$$ in giant wads too enticing to walk away from?

And is Larry Kudlow incapable of sticking to a long term direction for anything in his life's mission? He has changed his political affiliation... his spouse... three times... his religion, from Judaism to a Catholic conversion... and his career numerous times.

Is this the right person to be making the final call on GSE"s future? Does the uncertainty of this individual explain recent departures from the Team that worked on the process for the last two years? Will the specter of his Bear, Stearns alma mater's collapse channel its way into fear of Fannie and Freddie succumbing to similar risks and outcome? Is the Kudlow Plan comfy and cozy to private investors if they are asked to pony up $100 B in new capital investment?

I'm not trying to cast aspersions, but I am drawing attention to the so-far closeted questions that never seem to make their way into the FnF conversation mainstream. Who vetted this guy?
