I think Pence was briefed incorrectly ( to be polite) and he was referring to the prior funding which enabled them to start a production line - their current one where they are now pushing our n-GEN vans for UPS and hopefully FedEx, and smaller fleet owners (the bakery they have a relationship with for one.). That line could even manufacture the first year of the USPS order if they got it.

$30m will not cover the cost of opening Lordstown let alone buying it.
unless they administration is providing a huge loan or free lease.
