Many folks on this board live in the cities and depend on the govt. These folks will be in all sorts of trouble.
He never misses an opportunity to be a confused mess.
A little background: He has been proclaiming imminent collapse of the financial system for at least 15 years.
He went bonkers as a Ron Paul libertarian, which, since he worked for the government, was a built in hypocrisy. Now, he is on a government pension and rails about people being dependent upon the government.
His statements about city people being in trouble has been related to self-sufficiency in the past, such that he is a human remake of the Waltons or something since he supposedly raises a garden. If his apocalyptic wet dream come true, I would imagine bands of city people would come and take his tomatoes away from him anyway.
Since he is in ohio, which is a battleground state, (or was) the amount of pork shoveled into his state during election years has been immense, which they have come to expect. He used to brag about that, but apparently he has forgotten that part of his shtick.
Back to his original statement, I don't know that his premise is even close to right. I certainly am not a city person, and I know we have posters from wyoming, colorado, texas, and other places that certainly are not cities by the standard definitions.
We also have a cohort of posters from places that trump would call shit holes, so they love him like an abused loves the abuser. I really wish they would enjoy the pleasures of capitalism by having the rest of us stop supporting them, as in your illustrations. These guys live in fetid places such louisiana, arkansas, etc. where immorality is their code and lying is an art form. Roy Moore mentality. They probably wouldn't even believe that a collapse had happened unless trump told them.
Shermann's support of trump was extremely comical, I am sure the self-professed pacifist really liked the dealings with Rocket Man and Iran. Oh, and his tear gassing of women in children at the border was a nice touch. Trump has committed so many atrocities that they just sort of end up in exhaustive heap like the warehouse in Indiana Jones movies. I can't even remember if that came before caging kids or after it had started.
