You said yesterday,in message #43986, that "Patents are all about who is first." That led to a long conversation about patents that improve the technology that is covered by other patents.
The reason why I mention this is to remind you that it is part of the job description of any company CEO to speculate about the business plans of his competitors. Because Greenshift has filed a lawsuit against two dozen other companies, they have announced that they are competing against those other companies. The patents that General Motors has obtained for their vehicle manufacturing technology are not interesting to anyone in the Greenshift Corporation because there's no competition between Greenshift and General Motors for the same customer. Both corporations could even have the same customers.
