Why is every one so fixated on turning a general statement into a promise. That’s like on a Saturday I tell my wife, I will mow the yard this afternoon. Once it turns 12:01 she starts in saying it’s the afternoon and you haven’t mowed the grass. You promised me that you would mow it today.

All afternoon all I hear is that you haven’t mowed the grass. Something more important came up. Soo, I mowed it on Sunday. It still got done, why make a big deal about several days? It just needs to happen. Sometimes something happens and priorities change.
