I heard that, BUT NOT to that plant. He says they will be coming there.I am not sure what that means because he's talking as a Politician and seams to be searching for words rather than making a proper anouncement.
Cities and states tend to offer manufacturing companies breaks on taxes and even free land. Sometimes they even offer money through city Bond issues. No telling from this interview but I will enjoy the ride it creates along with everyone else.
I am hoping the company will be the new Tesla of work style trucks but another company that is private is already way a head of them.
GM is shuttering plants across the US and unions are not happy about it.
IMO- Its hard to get a deal done on an all new everything type deal and product wile you shut down existing operating plants and destroy lives in other states.
It could encourage people to move to the new plants area.....
who knows ???? Its a Gamble but that's what makes it fun.
