Only the judge can discharge debt and equity, dissolve companies, etc., and they don’t do that until the books are completely closed (ie - at the very end). It is what it is, but there are ample warnings provided by the SEC and others about how dumb it is to invest in Q stocks, what happens to stock when companies go bankrupt, etc. Heck, the monitor gave clear warning back in October there’d be nothing for shareholders, and that was ignored by some with a ridiculous and false notion that the big payout would happen after the proceedings were closed (LOL - after the company had been stripped down to where all that was left was debt - LOL!!!).
