To respond directly to your comment, if the ethanol industry isn't healthy, if large companies like Shell and ADM aren't allocating large amounts of money into their own ethanol operations, and if the other companies that Greenshift is suing aren't profitable, then even if Greenshift wins the suit (instead of agreeing to a settlement), we GERS investors will be fighting over crumbs.

It is in the best interest of Greenshift to lobby for the whole industry, including ethanol exports, the increased use of ethanol in blended fuels, and the conversion of domestically-produced ethanol into other materials like plastics. Kevin (the Greenshift CEO) shouldn't focus on short-term operations. Annual projects and budgets will pay off better than monthly or quarterly projects and budgets.
