Quite possible, but it wasn't his stock and his responsibility and that's a big part. The only reason he bothered to put out the website with a statement, along with the PDF proofs of the transaction was because his name was getting tarnished. Remember the (I think it was) 500k lawsuit, and we were all up in arms about it... That was addressed in his website with Waldron stating (including PDF copies as proof) that everything he was being accused of was previously disclosed. Waldron took even longer than Bishop to put out a statement, but that is because people were talking crap, and Bishop completely threw Waldron under the bus in the newsletter he issued telling all shareholders the deal was off. He couldn't even put it in a PR he had to try and hide it within his dedicated shareholders who signed up for the newsletters. Remember that newsletter? Bishop even addressed the lawsuit in there.. I kinda think that's what Waldron got so pissed about and said fu*k this guy, and put that website out.
