As to your question, and acknowledging the lack of other insights, I would say yes. His writing is very plain-spoken - a huge asset - and he talks to the reader...not at him/her. Knowledge should always be shared, especially by those who are able to do so well.

I used to teach college...community college, 13 years. Again, knowing what I know, he might really like to consider picking up some adjunct classes. I bet he could teach pretty well.
