Not to belabor the point, and God knows I would send this privately if I could, but what is it? Why can't you just say "Hey, ya, you were right. I stand corrected" and move on?

I don't even want to hear anything about who was right or wrong...just an acknowledgement of agreement of a stupid piece of factual information. Just an agreement on a provable (and proven, by information provided by both of us), item of fact.

People are factually incorrect all the time. These events are called "mistakes" or "misstatements". Happens to me, to you, to everyone. Most of us just acknowledge the error, understanding humans are fallible, and move on, learning and growing as people. Is your ego really that fragile?
