Lightening, thunder, torrential rain
Here in NC we got'em starting 7/4, tapering off over a few days.
Took out internet over 50% of each day and finally down all day 7/20 (when mtce. apparently began working on it) & several hours 7/19 (my computers' auto snapshots got blank pages in place of 3 hours of data @ 15-min intervals). All technology is untrustworthy!

Looks like the mtce. request tech put in Fr. 7/19 paid off. At 5:00 A.M. this morn I was watching Spectrum truck stop near every pole and work on wires. I know it began Fri. 7/19 as tech. supp. told me work order was open.
Felt bad for the "boots on the ground" - they were working in 93-97+ degree heat during daytime.
