There are tens of thousands of accounts these large companies dont really target.
The smaller foodservice companies are in every state out there taking as much of the secondary bizz which is still tens of billions of dollars.
A smaller company like ours here dont have to take the spot light on how big they are. Trust me when I say this,
Their is more business out there and growing in double digets in each state. Our company just need to have a solid sales team and a great fill rate. That is THE most important catagory in foodservice.
Fill rates are based on miss-pics and out of stock items.
If you can keep that number above 97%, we will be in the game and will grow month to month.
Time will tell. For being in charge of this exact business for the decades I managed all of these important points to hit the center of the board on. Believe it! A foodservice manager with Experience will use an experienced sales rep and pay a little more.
