To answer your question, yes, this is a good time to restart Pacific Ethanol's two plants in Aurora, Nebraska.

It's not as simple as turning on a light switch. A lot of work has to be done before production can begin, including replacing parts that are unusable since the day that the plants were mothballed. If this is done quickly and by plant managers who know what they're doing, it will add to the company's investment in those plants, but it will also add to the productive lifespan of those plants.
