Why not a class action lawsuit . . . . all Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac shareholders vs. FHFA for fiduciary failure? It would be a case that FHFA couldn't possibly win.



The Perry plaintiffs put breach of fiduciary duty claims in their lawsuit and Lamberth dismissed them. In other words, he ruled that FHFA has no fiduciary duty to shareholders.

Far from being a slam dunk, instead it is something that has already been (unsuccessfully) tried.
