the study was for Germany where 100% of hydrogen will be coming from wind power.

Europe far ahead of USA for using renewables to generate hydrogen via electrolysis.

Not sure of the price of small electrolyser compared to reformer but prices must be coming down like the price of solar cells and wind turbines.
UK not using coal power plants for days in a row now due to amount of renewable energy.

Side effect fo all the solar and wind farms is the need to store surplus energy - H2 is the obvious solution. and no need to have a way to put it back into the grid just sell to Plug Power.
