My goal in investing is not to have my trades fit in neat little buy/sell boxes for people on the sidelines to examine.

My goal is to accumulate shares at the lowest possible PPS. So I "usually" bid sit. Been doing it since 2009.

The end result? Whether I hit the ask, or I bid sit and get shares, my account grows in the number of shares I own - and at a lower PPS.

What pretty little buy/sell box does it go into? I simply don't care. No one should care if the goal is to accumulate shares.

At the end of the day, no matter which pretty little red or green box shares traded ended up in, total shares bought and sold will nearly always match up numerically.

The sold shares may be new dilution entering, or may be retail. But buys and sells match share for share.

No, not the pretty little pictures. The actual real world shares. Artificially pushing buy and sold into boxes makes little real world difference overall.
