Definitely not suggesting they don’t have boatloads of content and I think the quote above nails it. It’s your average user not the guy who wants to watch obscure foreign films that comprises their user base. People who want to watch stranger things, and office reruns for 14 bucks a month is where the growth will be. To keep those people you have to compete with 50 other streaming services. Some of those will decide they want Hulu Disney and nbc because they want to see family guy, Star Wars, and the office.

It doesn’t have to be everyone just enough to make this something other than a hyper growth market dominance story.

I do admire this company and love some of their content. I also think competition will nibble away market share. Since their growth path is outside the us right now competition may take longer to arrive there but it will arrive.

When posting on VMC boards all postings should have a symbol in the header and if foreign please post both US and Foreign symbols.
