“ I simply thought it was curious that it was 120,000 sqft before the license agreement was signed, and then 120,000 sqft was subsequently given as the reason for the late payment of the upfront fee of the license agreement.”
Kurt here is one of the news articles that mentioned the 120,000 sq ft in July 2018.
What I believe this is referring to is the Common Facility Center building that AMTRON is required to construct as part of the overall development plan of the 103 acre (4.5 million sq ft) Tech City site as specified in the original GOI approval document from Feb. 2018.
The reference to adding additional square footage to Tech City I believe was the addition of the 140,000 sq ft SWIFT Centre, for which the foundation stone was laid on Aug 11, 2018.
AMTRON is responsible building these two buildings and the site infrastructure as part of their overall development of the Tech City site. To me the articles are not discussing actual manufacturing units that are to be built by the constituent units like Amtronics and SIMOCO Telecommunications, but the common/administrative facilities that are the responsibility of AMTRON as the Chief Promoter of the government project.
