ASTM International Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence Annual Report for 2018-2019

See Page 11 for Sigma Labs.
Project 2: Robust Quality Approach for AM via In-Process and NDT (RAMPID)– Goal: Develop a robust way to measure AM NDT reliability through Probability of Detection (PoD)–

Timeline: 18 months (starting June 2019) with budget of £265K ( ~$330K)– MTC suporting members:

Parker Aerospace (lead), BAE Systems, GKN Aerospace, Rolls-Royce Plc, Renishaw, Sigma Labs, Materialise, Hoganas, Diondo

As far as I can tell pretty much the only company in this whole international standards consortium report that does QA in process or much NDT is sigma labs, (Diondo does CT) and there are a lot of big companies here. Who do you think they will turn to once this is figured out? Of course people here will say this is another 18 months but seriously look at the names on this list.

And the American Consortium in this group are the following

GE, GM, Honeywell, Moog, Oerlikon, Praxair, Raytheon of which we are working with Oerlikon, Honeywell, and Raytheon through Pratt and Whitney/UTC merger
