I dont have PM either any more. When Chris was in town last November for our market visit, he talked me into selling a case of the new cans coming out at the time as $16 case. In hindsight I wish I did $18-$20, since we get the cans for $12/case. Have to move alot of cases at $16/case, plus the overhead expenses of shipments/storage/gas/employees, and everything else that goes into overhead for the biz as you scale up. You get 208 cases of Kona per pallet. They require 2 pallets to get started.

HighDrate is now 110 cases per pallet, 5 layers deep. Pallets are the standard 40"x48" I forget the height but the HighDrate is taller, still talking like maybe 6 ft, so any storage unit should be able to easily fit that. All dimensions, details are included in the sell deck if you ask Kona for it. We get them for $27/case, sell for $35, with a break to $33 if they buy it by the pallet. They can ship direct to customers with docks, should you close a small local chain or the customer has a dock.

I recommend to all new distros to have an inventory management system, doesnt have to be big boy distro software, cheap efficient tech like Emerge App works well. You can monitor inventory levels, create sales orders with your logo on it, email invoices in PDF form to your customers that dont need a physical copy, issue shipments, create purchase orders, perform receivables, generate sales reports all from a cloud based easy to use interface. Its mobile friendly, so when you bring on salesman, they can generate new sales on the fly at the customer, which is something I want to do. I'm looking into mobile printers to connect with an iPad so you can do everything on the fly for new sales, and really impress!

The app really helps keep track of all of these areas and keeps you organized. Makes tax season easy too, as you can I integrate it with Quickbooks too!

If you want to avoid the $300 lift gate fee, make sure you have a loading dock wherever the pallets will be delivered too. Make sure the facility has easy access by a semi to avoid additional fees, and get a pallet jack so you can take the pallets yourself and avoid the $50 "inside delivery" fee. Id also reach out to Kona through the "become a wholesaler" form out on their site. Just keep in mind it may take some time to hear back as they get flooded with requests like this and have to manage inventory with production etc...
