You continue with the false assumption that the reactor works in isolation. Commercial-scale materials handling, precursor preparation, post-processing etc. may prove to be as big a challenge as the reactor itself. Presumably, they have been working in the lab with a glove box and manually moving product in small quantities to this point. You probably don't scale that up - rather you're designing new systems and processes.

Another possible problem is the chemicals. With small quantities, you can probably use chemicals from single batches. That may not be possible with larger quantities. Even extremely pure chemicals have impurities and the impurities are not necessarily the same from batch-to-batch. Does that cause a problem?

I'm not saying it can't be done, but it's not hard to imagine that there will be challenges to overcome. Time will tell.
