So my thinking is similar but along the following lines:

We know that currently any two 3D AM machines - even if they from the same manufacturer like EOS - often have inconsistent outputs

We know that behemoths like HP, Toshiba, Mitsubishi and others are entering the 3D AM machine space

My bet is they will achieve better consistency and performance given deep engineering and investment heritage

Furthermore they will likely understand and certainly have less ego about world class QA in situ (and its benefits) than existing players like EOS and others

Quality, deep engineering companies like these will acquire Sigma IMO
