We don't know who this white knight is, of course, we may in time. But there are some things we can say, if it is true, he could sue hindenburg but that might not do much as hindenburg is probably a shell. But the indication was he might sue the enablers, which includes brokerage houses which allowed the naked shorting etc. that could make a difference to the future activity of these guys in that they need to be enabled by brokerages houses. If those houses put in procedures to prevent this, then we might have something.

OTOH, as you say IB, for the moment we don't know if this is even real.
