This is their number one priority right now. Sounds like they are working hard on completing the acquisition. I am sure there are quite a few moving parts that need to come together. Once this is complete they will start communicating more with the investors but top priority is what needs to be done behind the scenes to finalize this.... Just want I took from the email response.
