It certainly is, the float is increased as a function, it is a product of dilution of the share structure, you can try to avoid the obvious all you want. The float today has increased as a function of dilution from less than a year ago. The fact remains the OS was 12.X Billion about a year ago, shares were issued and then comverted to common free trading shares in which the last 6 months they have been dumped at nearly 3 BILLION shares into the market.

Basic finance, dilution is the cause.
