The float is indeed very small. But it should have an effect on share price even well before the results are announced. So it's not a new thing affecting the share price only after the results.

But you are still probably right. If the previous results are replicated (or close) then there probably will be a serious shortage of shares in short term once markets hear about the company and the first real treatment to this terrible disease. In that case the market cap and share price may rise even higher than what would be the "right" value.
