The board of directors of the Company (the‘‘Board’’) wishes to inform its shareholdersand potential investors that to its best information, knowledge and belief having made dueenquiries, it became aware on 5 July 2019 that Ms. Lo Ching (‘‘Ms. Lo’’), the chairmanand an executive director of the Company, is currently being held in criminal custody bythe Yangpu Branch of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau* (??????????)inthe People’s Republic of China.

To the best information, knowledge and belief of the Board, as at the date of thisannouncement, the Directors are unable to ascertain the reasons of, or incidents leading to,the criminal custody of Ms. Lo. Nevertheless, as at the date of this announcement, thenormal business operations of the Group and the functions of the Board both remainedstable and have not been materially and adversely affected by the aforesaid event. TheBoard will endeavor to ensure the continued operations of the Group and that the interestsof its shareholders and employees remain protected.
