There's a difference between hype and pump.
The hype is on because this is a late stage custodian about to go full on RM.
The folks causing the hype are those who are experienced in or prefer the RM stage entry. They are the early comers who the chasers will be buying from when the RM is announced and the stock hits .2

Different risk profile, different rewards.
There is no pump here. The incoming company will be valued higher than a shell and so there's little place to go but up from these prices.

Will there be pull-back? Yes, because there will always be folks following the hype, having no clue what's happening, who will foolishly dump into hands like mine who will be happy to relieve them of their shares at lower prices... then sell it back to them at 10x when the RM is announced.
