IMO the pain is coming regardless. Trump is just foreseeing what's coming and trying to put people in place that can deal with the crash that's going to be unavoidable.

The abuse that the fiat money system has ushered in since Nixon went on it will eventually come home to roost. The Central bankster's aren't going to be able to bail out the next crash they made. People are going to demand a system that controls their unauthorized spending and imbalances.

The only adjustment that will have to be made will be taking gold to it's true, unmanipulated value of somewhere north of $10,000 per ounce.
