If you're worried about Sciaky, look at the recent European AM market major companies from Fraunhofer, and realize they are just one company.

Realize all the other companies on that picture that sigma Labs is currently with and under contract with.

Truly astounding to have sigma one of the two companies in their market space.

De Facto standard.

Sigma inside :)

I spoke with Sciaky reps in Forth Worth TX last year at a conference.

They are primarily focused on EBAM and large parts which do not interfere with the DMLS and high end aerospace and defense, medical, gas and oil turbine, and intricate parts in which Sigma operates and has contracts with the major players who manufacture dmls printers

EBAM / EBM a completely separate market, and sigma has even worked with EBM with arcam but decided not to pursue due to Dmls being their target market.

At the time, Sciaky wasn't capable of real time control, and was sending their "real time" data to the cloud for analysis after.

They may have been able to create feedback in real time by now, I haven't spoken with them since, but again, completely different market limited to their printers and EBAM if I were to guess.

In more relevant news, Oerlikon opened their digital hub in Munich

Materialise and HP collaboration moving forward, HP probably in the tens of billions in market cap valuation if I were to guess. (Sorry for all the guessing. Bit busy these days)

Always nice to have an MOU with a near Billion dollar market cap company , who works directly with a company with near endless funding capabilities. (Just one of the many companies Sigma has contracts in hand with multi-billion dollar valuations.)

Additive Industries ramping production and will most certainly continue to be one of the top in AM printer manufacturers.

Maturation of the AM industry is clearly visible.

Mergers and acquisitions of big names occuring left and right.

Commercial airline business ramping to production

UTC and Raytheon merger. Big time stuff

Airbus pushing production

Boeing needing to push more units out per month

GE Safran ramping up orders worldwide.

Standards a necessity.

Sigma locked in with NIST CRADA
UK reps working directly with MTC UK
Germany reps working directly with Fraunhofer.

Sigma presence growing with the people writing the standards.

Users will push Sigma into OEMs as IPQA will be a necessity for production of high end parts.

Will be a great summer.

Even better Fall, standards due, stay tuned
:)
