With usd payout at annual 10%, i was even looking to cheap source of funding by borrowing money and then lending it out at higher interest rate on credearn and pocketing the spread.

But I would have to borrow a minimum of 50,000 with a HELOC promotional rate and the risk just starts to get too high to make just 1 or 2 thousand. Then I would still have to pay taxes and I need cash free in case we decide to move to knew home and don’t want all funds tied up in that experiment.

Those that have the USD just sitting in savings should at least take advantage of that because it is only a 6 mo loan if you don’t want it locked up too long.
