"What made it seem a good play,, Anyone?"= In my own words, Building-block chemical as a catalyst for biodegradable substrates that's comparable to oil-based polymers, but without the oil-part.

To add, "In-part" of my Decision to buy more BIOAQ shares and hold them (aside from all the generous DD shared), For starters, I'd refer you to PWC's 1st monitor report, Page33, Nexant summary; Section/Table 4.2 'Plant condition'.

To me (IMO) that section is/was a convincing enough paragraph/ summary to visualize Bioamber survival & potential profitability after restructuring. (In addition w/ the 1st monitor's report, Pages 81-102, if interested.
