There is generally good news from India. They are way ahead, but whether it is entirely legal is the question. No one knows what the Chinese have stolen, moral or immoral, ethical or unethical. Somewhere someone is laughing at the West. Given that the human race has 30 years to exist, according to the experts, a lot of this is useless anyway. We are limping along trying to preserve life and at the same time the planet is dying. More than a majority of stock trading is done by computer. This is one reason that small profits are taken before the day is out, and prices fall. But it doesn't matter about money if the earth is going to end in dismal circumstances. A burnt out cinder, poisoned by its inhabitants, and run over by Burmese pythons and poison ivy. A sack of money won't be worth a loaf of bread. Soon it will all crash into the sun anyway according to the best scientific predictions. We are at best a defective life form, a creative mistake that went the wrong way, meant to be scammed at every corner and suffer the slings and arrows of fortune. So the merry go round goes round and round and we are passengers into the zone of twilight, a vast and unintelligible universe which we are unprepared to understand, assaulted on all sides by bad music, bad television, filthy rich athletes, narcissistic politicians, and the crazed advice of those who claim to know it all.
