More Garnock Factor musing. My new favorite parlor game.

I think Garnock developed a passion for nano tech while battling cancer. It looks like he lost a bit of weight, too, and got diet conscious as per his bio on Reset site.

Andrew Garnock
Co-Founder Chairman
As a father of three, cancer survivor, derivatives trader, investor and ex hedge fund manager, I understand the need to get ample rest, eliminate stress and RESET the body and mind to a more balanced state. For me, this was an easy project to get behind as it can help avoid the many health issues our hectic lives can create. If this can help prevent just a few mental and physical health ailments it will be a success.

Disruption Labs started in Nov 2017, about the same time Garnock reached to Verus. If it was prompted by the Disney deal, then it makes sense to me that he was looking for a potential distributor of branded products as part of a longer nano venture, which can cover everything from drinks to supplements.

Again, this could all be tinfoil hat time on my part, but I still can't see how generic mayo pots to Oman was the 'master plan'. Those deals were just to keep the lights on during the lean period. MLB may have been in the works already back then, in Jim and Anshu knew each other from their DC days, but either way, it's the door opener into US market and shelves. The rest of the M&As and their products follow in the slipstream.

The case against all this is: Anshu said mphase would have nothing to with Verus International on twitter back in Jan, and Anshu on recent conf. call said he "couldn't speak to Andrew's intentions".

Whatever the final outcome, a fascinating saga unfolding in real time...

Surf, I can help thinking the same thing. Both companies now in same office space for one thing.
And most big investors probably wouldn't want the CEO moonlighting during a critical growth phase unless the two ventures were going to align at some point.

My best guess is still some sort of overlap with nano beverage smart drinks. Verus set ups the distribution network and gets it to national level; then Garnock's assorted nano products (also worked on at Disruption Labs) flow through them.

Can Nano be the next CBD basically.

Not sure how the A.I. and Travel Buddhi is going to fit in. mPhase still feels a disparate to me at the moment.

Mark's did say mPhase was "quite interesting" in an email a while back. But then he is a master at not giving anything away too soon. Don't think he's doing the IR for them yet though.

I have to admit, I turn the Garnock Factor round in my hand like a refracting gem. Why did he reach out to this particular company?
All manner of possibilities, but all just rays of light for now...

Anyone's else thoughts most welcome.

Best,
Nest.

Just realized that our CFO Is also the CFO of Mphase Tech, XDSL. Seems like the next person to join Mphase would be mark. Are These two companies bound to intertwine somehow?
