Good one eik ! I saw something similar although the demand headwinds relative to automotive declines was thought to impact palladium more so than platinum. It will impact both.

The largest Platinum producers are raking in record profits while at the same time resisting wage increases for the miners.

Another strike like 5 years ago could impact that rosy picture, although there are so many UN-registered stockpiles it's hard to know how much of the stuff is really out there.
