Actually I call Mr. Thompson a genius out of respect for what he's accomplished. Both individually and as CEO.

Much like I have for many individuals throughout history. Business or otherwise. Many I may not like, but, I still respect what they accomplished and recognized their genius if it was there to be recognized.

To each their own in their assessment of one individual or another. That's what makes up the world. But, I'm a realist. If this guy were driving this company into the ground, then, no, obviously he wouldn't deserve my accolades. He may still be a genius, though. And, in this case, per definition, he is:

Genius: Exceptional intellectual or creative power or other natural ability.

I can't dispute that.

But, idiot, I can dispute:

Idiot: a person of low intelligence

An idiot wouldn't be able to handle the intricacies of taking a company from nothing to where Kraig Biocraft Labs is today. I call him a Genius for being able to orchestrate things in the past, present, and future towards a sustainable company. IMO, an idiot would have pumped and dumped things long ago. He's far from that!
