Nosing around for news ...

Nimbustux, an interesting question. When will the next KBLB PR arrive?

I was expecting it over a week ago, concurrent with the meetings in Vietnam. Given the lengthy delay, I suspect other factors may play a role in the release of the next PR.

Next week is a short week. The market closes on July 3 at noon and will be closed on the 4th. If KBLB were to release a PR next Tuesday, the market would only have 36 hours to process before the holiday break. If I wanted news to have a big impact, I would want a longer time period for maximum impact.

In fact, the same logic seems to hold for this week. A PR tomorrow would only have 2 days before the weekend. The holiday interrupts next week.

Therefore, if the news is only modest, I would release it on the morning of July 3. Not much damage to the stock price over the broken week. Alternatively, it could be released Friday when not much harm would occur.

If I felt this news would really shake up the share price, I'd want a long time for the market to operate. Thus I would wait until July 8 or July 9.

Note these guesses are only my humble opinion. I'd prefer to get news quicker, but am planning for another 11-day news drought.
