I don't know how it happens behind the scenes, but it's the same action we see every time they dump. For whatever reason, despite what we would expect, the shares don't always hit the market at the bid. They seem to come in at the ask more often than not. Which has always made me think they are merely changing hands between MMs in a way that doesn't murder the stock. Or in this case, what's left of it.
