Investigation underway after SUV slams into firearm store, guns stolen from business

GREENSBORO, N.C. —

Investigators with the Greensboro Police Department said someone drove a white SUV into the Atlas Firearms building on Raleigh Street and stole firearms from the store early Tuesday morning.

It's unclear at this time how many weapons were stolen.

The store's owner told WXII 12 News that surveillance footage showed three suspects involved in the incident, which happened sometime after 5 a.m.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Greensboro police.
