Good morning RSHNers!

Here is a good reason why I am holding long on RSHN/G*PS and other hemp stocks regardless of news today. These are all recent article on the CBD industry that highlight my point.

The USDA has not even set up its guidelines for hemp as a commercial crop. 2020 will be the year.

"Of particular note is the deadline by which USDA is aiming to release its interim final rule for the newly legal crop: August. Previously, the department simply said it would have the rules in place in time for the 2020 planting season."

This is an excellent article explaining the state of CBD in foods and especially beverages. According this article, there are not many CBD companies capable of scaling operations to national grocer or big box demand, however Frank DeAngelo has scaled his businesses to multi-million dollar success. Secondly, CBD is still so new, there is not yet any "marquee brand". With Knockout Punch trademark being revived, its still a possibility it could make a name for itself.

"In 2017, no one knew what CBD oil was. In 2018, folks stumbled saying “cannabidiol” (that’s CBD oil) out loud. In 2019, it’s everywhere, and everyone wants in on it."

"Very few of the companies Graff’s firm works with have the ability to scale up to meet the ongoing supply needs of a major grocery chain or big-box store, yet market research firm Brightfield Group predicts the CBD oil business could balloon to a $22 billion market by 2022. Being among the first “marquee” national brands has the potential to be very lucrative."

The FDA is clueless about hemp CBD vs marijuana CBD, and still hasn't even established its ruling. There are probably half as many companies on the sidelines (like RSHN/XYZ) than already on the market, and that flood hasn't even started yet.

Congress urges FDA to get going on CBD

When I see articles like this next one, I think about XYZ and
its mission:

XYZ Hemp is a top of the line medical CBD company. With innovative products trargeting specific disease states as supplements, XYZ Hemp, along with RSHN, is poised to take CBD to the next level. With two of its officers being not only M.D.'s but well versed in the field of cannabis, a team of scientists and technical experts have joined forces to utilize all that CBD has to offer.

CANNABIS INGREDIENT CBD COULD ONE DAY BECOME AN ANTIBIOTIC

Lastly a New Report Forecasts $40B Global Cannabis Market by 2024

"Over the next few years, BDS Analytics and Arcview suggest there will be an increased pace of innovation in all segments of the cannabinoid market.

The U.S. and other countries are exploring ways to facilitate interstate and international commerce and export and public consumption of cannabis. While CBD is gaining popularity in the U.S., other countries are keeping an eye on the Food and Drug Administration and how it plans to regulate CBD products."
