Actually, you are wrong. Hard to believe, I know, but...

There are actually 23 managers in the HOF.

There are also HOF'ers who became managers yet couldn't seem to match their success on the field.

There are also players who sucked as players yet went on to become good or great managers. So, although I get the slight you're trying to make, it falls WAY SHORT of its intended mark.

Kim wasted years trying to do it himself before finally hiring jet le to do it for him...and now we want to believe he's brilliant for having wasted those years and finally getting someone to do it for him...lol

Lincoln notoriously toiled in failure before...what did he do again?
