SeaView has entered the wholesale club arena with Costco Wholesale Corporation (Nasdaq:COST, news, msgs), the largest wholesale club operator in the United States. SeaView COO Michael A. Ambler announced that SeaView has been awarded a Costco vendor number. "This is the first and most critical step in the business relationship, and it has been in process for several months," Ambler stated. "A vendor number is required to do business with all of the major retailers in our market segmentation plan, as it is the basis to set up our EDI system for orders, shipping and invoicing. We currently have several vendor packages in process and I will announce those as we receive confirmation of those vendor numbers. Costco is a key partner in the wholesale club market segment that will bring SeaView and SecureView products to its 30 million members via the internet and its 300 membership-warehouse stores."
