This is brilliant. When employees are engaged they do a better job. When it is your company, rather than just a cheque from the “boss” you may dislike, you take care of your business by doing a good job. GM used to have a stock program, during that time the company was the most productive and made the most money. Then management got greedy and everything went south. Bruce is not just building a business he is making a better world. How many of those employees will pay for another brand’s product? What will those employees tell their families and friends? When you pay people well your community thrives there is more money spent on your product. I am happy to share the profit with those who are doing the actual work! How can you say people who are working are meaningless? Everyone has value and I am delighted Bruce has the wit to understand that by sharing with others he ends up with more. Your employees are the face of your company and every one is an ambassador for your business. He could easily put that compensation in the budget as advertising because that is what you have when your staff is motivated and happy.
