arachno - There are several very green byproducts of silk worm processing into silk from the early supply chain inputs that come to mind:

1.) mulberries as food.
2.) silkworm feculae as organic fertilizer and tea flavonoids (flavorings).
2.) sericin from the cocoon boiling process for medical and cosmetic uses.

These are all potential revenue streams and may have been part of the many contract signings taking place but of lesser importance. It's possible that VietinBank wanted all these lesser contracts signed as well to complete the lead financing of phase 2.

Expected tonnage will produce significant marketable quantities of these byproducts from 2,500 hectares of land under production in Quang Nam phase 2. There is very little waste in sericulture unlike the ecoli goo companies.
