fwiw, I lost over $180K in an afternoon in the commodities market this spring. I felt horrible for weeks, and apologized daily to my family, even my pets daily for being such a dolt. Sleeping wasn't always easy.

Then on a whim, I started trading pennies, and made much of it back a few months later with a couple of lucky trades. I've been up and down since then, and come to take a sanguine view towards both winning and losing. Funny thing is you seem to do better on the ones that you expect nothing from, and it's generally the anticipated runners that seem to fizzle out or implode

Nevertheless, turnarounds happen. Ask many on these boards. But don't try to do anything right away. That never works, imho. Your spirit has just taken a huge blow. You need to be gentle with yourself, and not blame yourself for what has happened, nor the decision you made to protect your remaining capital. It's done. Now time to move on.

Sadly, this is how we acquire experience. It stinks, I know, but there is no real alternative.

Many good people, good traders have been taken by this stock. Not many decent people could believe a man would be capable of blatanlty lying through his teeth, then vanishing without a trace.
