Implying it took 13 years to get this point because the industry is reluctant to adopt a new tech is simply another in long line of excuses that has been used since Tao announced his magic findings! It’s also pretty much standard OTC “go to” line when a company fails to secure any going customers or sales.
Advances in this space have been widely deployed across the board in very short time frame as small and medium sized business react to the unlocking of the Tar sands and as new fracking tech took off. During this boom, management biggest accomplishment was to screw up two pilots that were promoted as being proof that the technology was real and in demand , while giving themselves all pay raises and golden parachutes. Nothing has changed.

My prediction is that Aot will be slowly promoted as not so much a viscosity reducer but to some other use like in a specific case where precipitate buildup is chocking the line and cannot be pigged frequently. Of course nobody will know until 12-18 months down the road. This will be another case of great news without sales and the only verification that Qsep really needs is adoption...so they went out and created that opportunity by paying for it. They will say the partner is receiving benefit therefore adoption has occurred...its pretty easy to see what comes next.
